Ōtautahi Māori Women’s Refuge – Te Whare Hauora

Te Whare Hauora is the only kaupapa Māori refuge service for whānau living in Canterbury and is the only kaupapa Māori, specialised refuge service in the South Island.  Our foundation is built on the values of Te Ao Māori and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all our practices and services.

Provides confidential safe place for women and their children, victims of domestic violence. Support, information & practical help with protection orders.
