Connect Hurunui Incorporated

Connect Hurunui is all about connecting people and building communities.

Connect Hurunui runs multiple community centric initiatives, these include community events, Timebank Hurunui and Connect Learning. People should contact us if they are interested in knowing about upcoming events in the Hurunui, wish to know more about timebanking or the coffee meetups we run or are just feeling the need to meet more people in the community.

We would also love to hear from anyone who is interested in teaching a workshop, sharing a skill or holding a community learning event. Topics ideas could include foraging, cooking, arts and crafts, TED talks etc.

We are in the process of developing Connect Cottage in Amberley which will function as a multi use community space and include a garden, a sewing room for our sewing group and a place for people to pop in and meet our community connectors Heather and Natalie.
