Kia ora, I’m Liz and for as long as I can remember I have been interested in people and their life stories – and (apparently) I’ve always been a bit nosey! I’ve lived in different countries – the UK, France, Romania and Kuwait – and observed cultural attitudes towards disability, death and dying. I am a registered Social Worker and have had lots of personal and professional experiences supporting those with palliative and grief issues – most recently I founded The Fifth Season: Palliative Support (thefifthseason.co.nz) which offers companionship and guidance through the vast emotions, decisions and tasks that may arise towards the end of life.
