Kaiapoi Library

The Ruataniwha Civic Centre houses Kaiapoi Library, Waimakariri District Council Service Centre, Art on the Quay, and Kaiapoi Museum. Kaiapoi Library offers a range of magazines, books, and audiobooks. We also provide free Wi-Fi, puzzles, board games, computers, and colouring activities to connect as a whānau or as friends. We have a range of pamphlets about what is happening in our community available.  We also have a tinker zone for members of the public for their sewing needs.

We offer a range of daily programmes and events, including Baby times and Toddler Times sessions, JP drop-in sessions, a Lego and Robotics Club, Movie Month, and other frequent events.
